Tony Visconti talks about his career in this engrossing two-part video and naturally includes some Crimson-centric references. Beginning with Trex’s Get It On, featuring ex-Crim, Ian McDonald playing a baritone sax borrowed for the occasion from Mel Collins, Visconti goes into the making of tracks such as Fashion from David Bowie’s Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) album. Also covered in the interview, of course, is Heroes, and his thoughts on working at Hansa Studio in Berlin.

Hansa was recently the subject of a documentary on Sky Arts as previewed in last week’s FT.
